Howells is a great place for the Quasquicentennail Celebration on Friday, June 1, Saturday, June 2, and Sunday, June 3, 2012. So start planning ahead to come back to help us celebrate. Contributions are welcomed to the Q125 committee at any time.

Entertainment tickets $12.50 in advance - $15.00 at the door: Contact a Q125 committee member.
Tickets available at Baumert Furniture, Bill's Food Mart and the Howells Bank.
The story of the Orphan Train fending for themselves on the streets of New York, homeless children were given a chance for a new life in America's heartland by riding the orphan train. Orphans who remember the experience come to life and share a forgotten part of history.

Local citizens help sponsor by PURCHASING A SPLIT THE POT Q125 TICKET at a participating business in Howells, Nebraska. One winner drawn each month. Cost $1.00.

Howells Historical Society would like the public input. They are debating about re-printing the
Howells Centennial History Book. The extra copies were lost in the flood. We would like to know if you think there is a demand for this 100 year history book. Contact: Wayne or Cheryl Molacek at 402-986-1610
